This Retro Art Deco Cabinet is stuck sporting early 90's milk paint. It desperately needs a Shabby face lift! That'll be next week's project.

Unfortunately we weren't thinking when we began painting before taking the "before" pictures for this buffet and kitchen suite.

I dont know what we were thinking not taking before pictures here! We were so excited to get repurposing and just starting sawing before remembering the camera.
We are to happy with the results though!! The teal bench was a crib and the ivory bench used to be a twin bed.

This french provincial desk has been used as somebody's craft table for a while... she needed a lot of TLC, but cleaned up beautifully!
Accented with hot pink and damask, she's one sexy desk.

French Provincial Occasional Table painted in cream and lightly distressed, making it a beautiful shabby chic piece. A beautiful midcentury classic piece!
This antique replica received a shabby upgrade, bringing it from Cheap to Chic!
She was painted in a grey chalk paint and distressed to reveal a white undercoat. The finish is protected by a hand rubbed wax.

This beautiful antique Waterfall vanity and chest of drawers was so satisfying to refinish. The patina had been destroyed in a past attempt to refinish the pieces, chunks of veneer were missing and drawers were stained with ink.
This set received a full structural revival and a face lift, too. She was painted in antique white, glazed, top coated with wax and then given a little Knob bling.
She's beautiful again :)

1960 Dixie Beauty!
I often wonder how or why people would neglect furniture the way this suite was neglected. She was laden with scratches, water stained, cigarette burns then sun-bleached, and santafe cushions. The seats stunk... and why, oh why would anyone want to mix french provincial with forest green santa fe?
Still, this suite had amazing curves and great bones.
She's been restored with a little bit of black paint, fabric, and a whole lot of elbow grease.
We did make a valiant effort to restoring the wood table top... unfortunately the water damage and burns were deep. Any more sanding, and we'd have been past the veneer.

Mom's going to have a hard time letting this one go.
